Job Description

Sierra Pacific Windows in Medford is in need of a millwright. Applicants must be able to trouble shoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems with all facility and production and equipment, single phase 110/115, 220/230 and 460/480 volt equipment. Capable of identifying wiring size and conduit as needed, to be able to wire in motor controls, starters, VFD, soft start, etc. Assist with trouble shooting and repairing PLC, MMI/HMI and motion control, both hydraulic and electrical. Capable of welding/fabrication using MIG, TIG and stick welding. Must have a working knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pumps, motors, gear boxes and mechanics of a mill. Have knowledge of computers and PLC's. Proficient in use of a cutting torch, gas welder, drill press, grinder (hand-held and stationary), and hand tools. Have own tools. Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
