Job Description

Sierra Pacific Industries Centralia manufactures a variety of wood products using specialized high-tech machinery. We have a great opportunity for a skilled machinist. Primary duties include working from plans, sketches and verbal directions for precision layout work, use cutting torch in order to fabricate, modify and repair parts, etc. We offer a great benefit package including paid vacation, company retirement contributions, paid life insurance, and low cost health benefits. Qualified applicants will have 1 year verifiable work experience and prior experience in welding (arc and gas). Must be proficient in the use of lathe, milling machine, drill press, and have own tools. Working with a team focused on developing cutting edge projects can be fast paced and, at times, demanding. May consist of day or swing shift work, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
