Sierra Pacific Industries' Central Distribution Center in Richfield, California, uses state-of-the-art equipment to provide quality assurance for all of our precision wood products.
After sawmill operators break down a log into its approximate final dimensions, selected rough dried lumber is shipped to Richfield where it is surfaced or "run to a pattern." Literally hundreds of standard patterns are available to meet our customers' specific needs. Custom patterns are also available. Random length packages with a "mix and match" program can provide customers with random lengths, offering the flexibility to ship 1 x 2 through 2 x 12 lumber on the same truck. Eight-head Weinig moulders are utilized to produce millwork to exacting specifications with a precision finish.
